Honoured Children Mission recently hosted a successful health and safety seminar in Oba-Ile, reaching over 100 children. The seminar aimed to teach basic hygiene practices, personal safety tips, and healthy living habits.
The event featured health professionals who engaged the children through interactive sessions. Topics covered included handwashing techniques, the importance of balanced nutrition, and strategies to avoid common health hazards. Each child received a hygiene kit containing a toothbrush, toothpaste, and soap.
“The seminar taught me how to stay healthy and keep my environment clean,” said Amina, an 11-year-old participant.
This initiative is part of HCM’s commitment to holistic child development. By addressing health and safety alongside education and spiritual support, we aim to empower children to lead healthier, happier lives.
